English Edition

This weekend has been crazy. But in a good way of course. I’ve surfed (sort of…), I’ve seen dolphins play in the water beneath me, been to Taronga Zoo where we got chummy with one of the animal keepers and got to pet a bilby (I bet you have no idea what that is), and also I’ve managed to hook up with Uppsalians in the city. This morning Lisa dropped me off at The Spit, from where I walked back to Manly. It was so beautiful, and the weather was great, but after 4 hours of non-stop walking (I had to walk back to the house too, plus grab lunch at Balgowlah) my feet were ready to commit suicide. Now, it’s 2 o’clock and I have to get a move on, because I’m going to Gymea to get my stuff, and then get myself and all my crap to Carlton, which means a couple of hours travelling. The downside of a huge city like this!

And I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to write as much or as interesting as was my plan, but it’s so friggin’ time consuming! I think of all these things I could write while I’m doing things, but then when I get back I’m just too exhausted. Nice to see you’re hanging in there though.

Gotta run! Enjoy your Monday, people.

My toes… My toes are KILLING ME.

So.

Cold.

The boys are outside working hard and I’m sitting inside not working very hard. In about an hour or two I’ll be off to Manly.

When I was younger I had a t-shirt I bought in Manly saying ‘Manly’, but when I wore it the boys at school would go ‘HAHAHA, MANLY! YOU ARE MANLY!’, so I won’t be getting one of those again…

Thinkning about walking up to Gymea and getting myself a chai latte… To warmy fingers up. My horrible blood circulation makes my fingers cold as ice.

Anywhoooo… Not much has happened since Monday (not much happens in BP, I can tell you that), so not much to write about.

Have a great Thursday!

Going up to Buff Point for a little while. Will be back Wednesday. Not that you’re going to notice anything because I’m crap at updating as it is!

Yesterday was interesting (which some of you might’ve seen on Facebook), but my relatives are so cool it’s unbelievable. Even so, I decided that it would be good to get out of the house for a while, so I met up with Stu at Miranda Fair for lunch. But. It is impossible for me to go to Miranda, or any shopping centre for that matter, and not come back with something new, and this time ‘something new’ was three CDs! The most expensive ones were 20 dollars, which is about 120 kronor. Amazing. They were fairly new as well! I am now a proud owner of Passion Pit’s Manners, Florence and the Machine’s Lungs, and Empire of the Sun’s Walking On A Dream. Happy!

I’ve bought new clothes three days in a row now.

It’s starting to bother me.

Bored housewife anyone?

‘”There’s something about the dirty tradesman that is just so appealing,” my girlfriend Kat tells me over lunch as a tradesman over the road is repairing the entrance of a hotel. I notice she is slightly drooling, and I assure you it’s not over her grilled Ahi salad either. The sex appeal of tradesman isn’t lost on the majority of Aussie women who according to an RSVP.com.au survey, 93 per cent of it’s female members are looking to date a tradesman in 2009…’

Ahahahaha.

Hahaha.

Ha.

In Sweden that just wouldn’t happen.

Here..? Hmm…
